•  Local: Slight stinging, irritation, numbness of tongue and mouth region.

Adult: Topical analgesia and anesthesia- As gel, paste, cream, lotion, spray, solution or suppository up to 20%: Apply as directed by your physician.

It comes as a gel, lotion to apply topically.

Hypersensitivity, complete heart block, low plasma-cholinesterase concentrations, pyrogenic infection at or near the skin. Injection into or application to inflamed, infected tissues, damaged skin mucosa or on perforated tympanic membrane.

• Caution should be exercised in elderly, debilitated, child, pregnancy, epilepsy, impaired cardiac conduction or respiratory function, shock or liver impairment, myasthenia gravis patients.

• Avoid applying this drug to large areas of the skin or middle ear. Do not eat or drink for a minimum of 3 to 4. hours after using the anesthetic for mouth conditions. Do not rub or touch the eye after application into the eye.

• Chemical burns must be neutralized before treatment with this medication.

Do not use on people with known allergies to this and PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid) compounds.

Store it at controlled room temperature 15°-30°C.Keep out of the reach of children.
