Medical Condition(s) for which Nasorest may be prescribed
â€¢ The recommended dose of acrivastine is 1 capsule of 8 mg for three times a day.
â€¢ The capsule can be taken either with or without food.
How to use Nasorest?
1 capsule of acrivastine should be taken for every 4 to 6 hr up to four times a day.
When is Nasorest not to be taken? (Contraindications)
â€¢ Acrivastine is contraindicated in patients with severe hypertension or severe coronary artery disease, hypersentivity to acrivastine, or other alkylamine antihistamines, hypersensitivity to pseudoephedrine or other sympathomimetic amines and in patients taking monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors.
Warnings and Precautions for Nasorest
Acrivastine should not be used in:
â€¢ Patients who are allergic to acrivastine or antihistamines like triprolidine
â€¢ Kidney disease patients
â€¢ Children under 12 years old
â€¢ Acrivastine is sedating in some patients
