Desarda MP, MS is Professor of Surgery and Division Head of the "Hernia Center" at Poona Hospital & Research Center. His interests are in research and development in different types of external hernias. He is sole investigator on many clinical studies and has been involved in the study of a new technique of tension free, mesh free and recurrence free inguinal (Groin) hernia repair. His operation technique is now called as "Dr. Desarda Repair".
