This medication is a topical antifungal and keratolytic agent, prescribed for tinea versicolor, and cyanide poisoning. It helps to loosen and shed hard, scaly skin.
Topical- Apply a thin film to all affected areas.
Adult: IV To be given after Na nitrite has been administered: 12.5 g over 10 minutes.
It comes as a lotion to apply topically as directed by your physician.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of cut, scraped, irritated, or damaged skin, who are taking other medications, any allergy, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• For external use only; avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and nose.
• It may cause harm if it is swallowed.
Breathing problem, temporary burning or stinging at the application site.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store it at room temperature (25°C).
