This medication is an antiparkinsonian agent, prescribed for Parkinson's disease, dizziness, and circulatory disorders.
Contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure, recent heart attack, and hypersensitivity.
Adult- PO- The recommended dose is 150-250mg daily in 3-5 divided doses.
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of Raynaud's syndrome, psychological problem, kidney impairment, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Perform regular eye examination during the treatment.
• Monitor blood pressure regularly while taking this medication.
• Most Common :
Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, confusion, drowsiness and movement disorder.
• Miscellaneous : Changes in liver function and leg cramps.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store it in cool airtight place.
