This medication is a proteolytic enzyme, prescribed for symptomatic vitreomacular adhesion, a progressive visual condition.
The recommended dose is 0.125 mg (0.1 mL of the diluted solution) administered by intravitreal injection to the affected eye once as a single dose.
It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the eye.
• Caution needed for pregnant women, elderly people and children.
• Patient may develop with increased of vision impairment. If you notice any changes, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Lens Subluxation (a partial displacement of the lens), vitreous floaters, eye bleeding, eye pain, flashes of light, blurred vision, reduced visual acuity, visual impairment, and retinal edema.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store frozen at or below -20°C. Protect the vials from light by storing in the original package until time of use.
