This medication is an antibiotic, prescribed for inflammatory papules and pustules of rosacea. It works by decreasing inflammation.
Topical- As 0.75% preparation: Apply twice daily.
As 1% formulation: Apply once daily.
It comes as a cream, gel and lotion to apply topically as directed by your physician.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of central nervous system disease, liver or blood disease, or Crohn's disease, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Avoid exposure to sunlight.
Increased skin redness, dryness, burning, irritation, stinging and smelling in vaginal discharge.
Avoid contact with your eyes.
Store it at room temperature and out of the reach of children.
