This medication is an amino glycoside anti-infective agent, prescribed for eye/ear infections. It is highly toxic for systemic administration.

Hypersensitivity.

What is the dosage of Framycetin?

Adult: Ophthalmic infections- As 0.5% ointment: Apply 2-3 times/day.
Ear infections as 0.5% solution: Apply as directed. Topical As 1% preparation: Apply as directed.
