This medication is a topical corticosteroid, prescribed for eczema. It blocks the release of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation.
Contraindicated in patients with perforated eardrum and hypersensitivity.
Adult: Topical- As 0.0025-0.025% cream/gel/lotion/oint/scalp lotion: Apply 3-4 times/day.
It comes as a cream, ointment, and shampoo to apply topically as directed by your physician.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with diabetes, glaucoma, cataract, blood disorder, or immune disorder, measles, chickenpox, tuberculosis, skin infection, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Local:Itching, burning, irritation and skin infection.
Wash your hands thoroughly after applying this medication.
