This medication is an antihistamine, prescribed for allergic conjunctivitis. It blocks histamine's action, which reduces allergy symptoms.
Ophthalmic- The recommended dose is one drop into the affected eye up to four times daily.
It comes as eye drops to instill into the affected eyes as directed by your physician.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of any allergy, who are wearing contact lenses, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• It may cause blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while using this medication.
• Remove your contact lenses before using this medication.
Abnormal dreams, weakness, bad taste, blurred vision, burning or stinging, corneal infiltrates, corneal staining, skin inflammation, dry eye, foreign body sensation, itching, runny nose, and tearing.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store it at 4°C - 30°C.
