This medication is a recombinant human deoxyribonuclease I (rhDNase) enzyme, prescribed for lung infections and to improve lung function in patients with cystic fibrosis. It helps in proper absorption of calcium and phosphate by the body.

Contraindicated in patients who are allergic to chinese hamster ovary cell products, and hypersensitivity.

The recommended dose is one 2.5 mg single-use ampule inhaled once daily- using a recommended nebulizer.

It comes as a solution to inhale by mouth as directed by your physician.

• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

•   Gastrointestinal : Intestinal obstruction, gall bladder disease and liver disease.
•   Metabolic : Increased sugar, weight loss, and decrease in oxygen.
•   Respiratory : Shortness of breath, lung inflammation, change in sputum, cough increase, difficulty in breathing, blood-stained sputum, nasal polyps, pneumonia, increased sputum and wheezing.

Avoid excess dosage.

Store it in refrigerator (2-8°C). Do not freeze it.
