Test : cytomegalovirus antibody test

Indications : Intruterine infection

Physiology : This virus is transmitted through intrauterine and can infect whether or not maternal immunity exists.Indirect flourescent antibody and immunoassay is performed

Normal Range : IgM-titer greater than 1:16,IgG titer greater than 1:32

Interpretation : increase of IgG and IgM indicates congenital cytomegalovirus
