Test : Adrenal antibody

Indications : Addisons disease

Physiology : This test is performed to detect the insufficient secretion of adrenaline. Indirect flourescent antibody test is used.

Interpretation : Negative tests indicate adrenaline insufficiency characterised by Addisons disease
