Gram flour is another effective remedy that is very helpful in lightening sun tanned skin. Make a paste of gram flour and water, and then massage the paste all over the affected skin area. Leave for 20-30 minutes, and then rinse it off with water. Repeat this remedy twice a week for a few months. This remedy helps remove dead skin cells and keep your skin looking young and healthy.
Honey and lemon make a great combination for treating sun-tanned skin. Take equal amount of honey and lemon, mix well and massage gently on the skin for at least 20 minutes, then wash it off with mild soap and cold water.
Papaya pulp is another excellent remedy to remove sun tan. The nutrients and vitamins present in the papaya pulp can help reduce the dark spots caused by suntan. Just rub the pulp gently on the affected skin for 10-15 minutes, allow to dry and then rinse with cold water.
