The International Association for the Study of the Liver (IASL) and Wiley-Blackwell are seeking a new Editor-in-Chief for Liver International, see www.liverinternational.com
Candidates for the position should:
- Have internationally recognized standing in academic hepatology
- Have a broad knowledge of basic and clinical research in the field
- Be experienced in editorial decision making
- Be highly skilled in editing and writing
The term will be January 2013 through December 2017. Each candidate should submit by October 1st 2011 a curriculum vitae and a detailed statement outlining a vision for the immediate future of Liver International including a plan for the modes of interaction between the Editor-in-Chief and a proposed team of 10 to 15 Associate Editors.
The selection committee will review applications and invite suitable applicants to an interview at this year's AASLD meeting in San Francisco, on November 4th 2011.
