Special Needs and Assistance During Flight

This service is provided by some of the leading Airlines to facilitate patients to remain in a reclining position during the flight, if their medical condition requires. This of course is done at an additional cost. As the stretcher has to be set in and installed, the passenger requiring the service has to book the ticket early enough so that the Airlines will have sufficient time to arrange the service.

A qualified attender is required to accompany the stretcher patient. Along with the stretcher, if there is a request for Oxygen supplements, some airlines arrange that too.
