HELLO im mark 23yrs old i got hernia sugery 1 year ago and after that i had been felt that there is somethng in my testicle but doctor diagnose me that i have a little bit varicocele.

My 73 yr old mother needs umbilical hernia repair. Skeptical about medical procedures, she is put it off til it is bigger. Does not like idea of Biologic implants. What is safest mesh material to use? Or, in general, which mesh material has the least complications / lawsuits ? Polypropylene, polyester,...what ? Thank you for any anticipated answer.

I am 74 yrs age. I had TURP procedure 10 days back. There is pain at the time of start of urinating just at the penis tip . It reduces immediately after few seconds , Is it normal ? Also taking up plane or train journey after three weeks is it OK ?

I had my left ovary,fallopian tube and the cyst removed a week ago. I had a lot of adhesions that is why my left ovary and tube had to be removed. Now am having stabbing pain on my right lower abdomen and some discharges. Discharges were brown and think on the second day post op, red and clotty on the 5th day, today the discharge is black. I had surgery two days ago, as I had a cyst on my right ovary. My doctor remove the ovary and tube as it was full of Endrometrioma, I feel ok today, except my stomach is really swollen and quite red will the swelling go down? How long after can I start to exercise? I feel like my body looks so ugly. Other then that Iam just tired and a bit weak. Will I get normal periods as they were normal before.

I had varicocele and did a microsurgery 4 months a go in June 2012. Now I feel that it is back and also sometimes I feel pain as it was in the past.

Doctor told me that it will not come back after microsurgery. I paid a lot of money for it and now it is back. please suggest me what to do now?

I am scheduled to have a rather large Incisional Hernia repaired, because it is such a large hernia my surgeon has recommended using MESH. I have heard a lot of negative things regarding MESH and do not know which Mesh would be the safest to use. Do you have some suggestions on which MESH would be best?
I did express my concerns to my surgeon but there was no recommendation. Also I was told that if you could have a Cosmetic Surgeon join in with your Surgeon you may have much better results. Is this true?
