The famous pop star, Michael Jackson has had numerous face lifts done on him.

How does one know whether one needs a face-lift?

One could go in for a face-lift if, one has any of the following:

• Deep creases along the sides of the mouth and nose
• Wrinkles beside the eyes (called crow’s feet)
• Loose skin and sagging of the middle portion of the face
• Double chin and sagging near the jaw-‘jowls’
• Sagging skin in the neck –‘turkey-gobbler folds’
• A face-lift can be combined with a brow lift, eyelid surgery or chin lift for good overall results.

This surgery will not be able to change one’s appearance totally, but can give the person a rejuvenated, fresh and young look. It cannot stop the wheels of aging from turning though. One may require a second procedure later on in life as the aging process continues.

Face lift is prefered by plus 50 stars both in Hollywwod and Bollywood. Devanand had a face lift and so did perhaps Mary Osmond in one of the Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgery clinics. Plastic surgeons make a great living if they cater to the Beverly Hills clients. Mumbai cosmetic surgeons also do a decent job be it a nose job ( e.g Sridevi) or a Face lift (Dilip Kumar). Good Medical Tourism potential for India.
