Endotracheal tube: Tube inserted into the trachea or windpipe to facilitate breathing.

Mouth gag: An instrument used to keep the mouth open during surgery.

Periosteum: Tissue lining the bone.

Mucous membrane: Tissue lining the inner aspect of various organs like nose, mouth etc. which secretes mucus.
