Pancreatic cancer is a silent killer
, as it does not cause any visible symptoms in early stage. Symptoms are manifested only when the tumor has grown to a sufficiently large size.
Symptoms include -
Unexplained weight loss and appetite- With the cancer cells drawing most of the nutrition there will be an unexplained loss of weight and appetite.
Sensation of pain in the upper abdomen or back pain.
Nausea and vomiting
Hepatitis (yellowish discoloration of the eyes and skin, dark urine)
Clay colored stools and steatorrhea i.e. excess fat in the stool
