People in America are obessed because they eat fry foods, junk food also can effect your body. Another thing that cause to consume as much sugar in their unhealthy body figure. Obessity can lead to heart attack, possibly death. People that dont exercise enough or sleep. If you read the nutrition label it tells how many calories by each serving.

I would like to see a group start a movement to require fast food commercials to list calories of their product. Everytime I see the Burger King Baconator commercial I wonder how unhealthy that sandwich is as you see the man try to fit it in his mouth. Also, Sunday night on WGN Chicago there is a show I think is called "Taste Chicago" at 10:00 pm. It seems to glorify unhealty eating, they should be obligated to inform viewers of the fat and calorie content of the food the restaurant is serving, hard to watch sometimes, people who are heavy anyway eating greasy unhealthy food. This show should be off the air. I have said my peace.

i do wrestling in hihh school and there is no way better then to lose weight with a good diet then to go through excercises like that. You lose alot of weight and gain alot of muscle. just make sure to drink lots of water and eat lots of proteins.

EVERY1 DONT GIVE UP. My name is Brooke. Ok i am 14 and have lost 25kgs. Im planning on reaching out to larger people. I still weigh around 70kgs but i am not obese for my height. I lost weight sweets from running around my back yard at first... because i was scared of people watching me. UNTIL my self confidence built i ran around the block and if i ate somthing bad thats it i ran it off ok. THESE were short runs and it only took me 2 weeks to loose 25kgs. common. I'm 41 years old,I have had a weight problem all my life. ive been on thyroid meds diet pill that make me sick Ive worked out till i drop no kidding and ive given up.I really like myself peaple think you have no self love if your big but I like who I am but it,s making my working life impossible i dont know what to do I,m 5'4 and 300 pounds.I have to work to make a living but its to much.I,m a strong person so I know when I say this its true.If anyone has went through this please write i need to talk to someone whos been there.I have good references for being a hard worker but i feel myself slipping and dont know were to start. anyway thanks

Hi, I'm 32,162cms,77kg.......I think I am overweight or obese??? I have undergone a thyroid test, TSH was 4.88g/ml for [0.27-4.2] I'm taking 50mg of electrocin in the morning. Am I doing correct. My hips and thighs are very heavy I have 2 kids with normal delivery.

hi, i'm now 14..when i was 10 i was very fat. my height is 160 cm and my weight is 95 kg..

but, this fat doesen't make me struglling on anything, i can move normally, walk normally, run normally,

i don't why i am so fat...i never eat junk foods...i exercise well to..i'm basketball player in my 6th grade team. i don't know what happen to my body...

and then i came to the doctor and asking about my body...the doctor says.."keep exercising"....

hearing that i was freaking out...i have exercised well but i can't lose any weight...

then, i ask to my father about my body...(my father is fat to)
my father says "you can try swimming".

there is a swimming pool near my house...
and then, i swim everyday in that pool.....

and yes...i can start to lose weight....swiming also help my height grows very fast...

now i am 14 my weight is 74 kg and i am 178 cm..

so chubby_but_not_fat, maybe you can try swimming.

You are overweight. I am too. I am 18 years old and 350 pounds... about 160 kg. You should lose weight to be healthy, not to be a certain size. It's great that you love to eat your veggies... I hate them lol. try to incorperate a fruit or veggie into every meal. Do you drink soda?

I dont think your fat. My sister weighs 9stone 6lbs and only 5ft 3in , and she is far from fat. She has a great figure and toned. It all depend on you fat to muscle ratio :]

Well if you cant lose weight it is because you probably have a low metabolism which means it is much harder for you to lose weight.Also, don't worry about what ppl think say " if you have a problem with being overweight you hav to deal with it".

Learn to English much Sissy. Everyone needs support, just like you need to learn how to spell LOOK at least.
Chubby but Not Fat, you probably do have a low metabolism but you can change that by getting plenty of excersise, vitamin B and eating a balanced diet. But the kJ in what you eat has to be less than the kJ you burn. Aearobic excersise is best, when your body can't get enough oxygen for cellular respiration, it starts to burn through the protein and lipids in your body to get the energy needed. i would recommend excersising for over forty minutes at a time to assist this process. i'm chubby too. :P

if she is into games get a nintento Wi FIt lol, it really works, lose weight and have fun at the same time, she can also try having a better diet with a mixture of a lot of different coloured fruits and vegetables and eat less fatty food, or she can exericise like 10-30 mins a day and like in a month she would loose a considerable amount of weight

Most people think that America is at fault for the obesity problems that people have now days. In all actuality it is the people that are at fault. We are to blame for the few extra slices of the large pepparoni pizza that we ordered after 8 o'clock at night, when we knew full well that we wouldn't be doing any sort of activities after eating that pizza. We are to blame for not getting out and excercising when we knew that we needed to burn a few extra calories. It is completely unfair to blame america as the sole criminal in the obesity problems that we face.
