Glossary

Micro abrasions - It is a method of elimination of discoloration when the stained areas in abraded away. This technique does result in the physical removal as tooth substance and therefore are indicated only for stains that do not extend beyond a few tenths of a millimeter in depth.

Veneers - A veneer is a layer of tooth-coloring material that is applied to a tooth for aesthetically restoring localized or generalized defects or internal discolorations. Common indications are teeth with facial surfaces that are malformed, discolored, abraded or eroded by chemicals. Depending upon the type of material by which the veneer is processed it can last for a period of at least 7 to 8 years.
