Living and coping with a grave illness such as uterine cancer is not easy, especially for a woman who is in the evening of her life.

The emotional aspects and the nuances involved in her day to day existence can be over whelming. Therefore it is important that people who are close to the patient play a conscious role in supporting the patient. It is comforting for these people to join a support group and meet others who are going through similar experiences, who are wiling to share it with others and avail of information that may be useful to them.

From all the symptoms of endometrial cancer, the commonly noted one is unanticipated or irregular vaginal bleeding post menopause. In case a woman is on a course of hormone therapy then there could be some amount of bleeding from vagina which could be anticipated. Nearly twenty from a hundred females that experience irregular bleeding post menopause have been found to have endometrial cancer. Weight loss without any effort taken could be one of the symptoms of endometrial cancer among women who are in the advanced or later stages of endometrial cancer.
