I am looking for a Schizophrenia Support Group to help my 51 year old son who seems to get no help. His father had Chromosome 17 Dis-inhibition, Dementia, Parkinson disease, Atrophy Complex which has been 50% inherited. It was thought until Dec, 2008 that my son had this disorder, however it was diagnosed as Paranoid Schizophrenia then. My son is very sick and I can't seem to get help anywhere.

Hypofunction of glutamatergic neurons has been hypothesized to caused schizophrenia. For example, see conclusions from the symposium entitled, "Not Just Dopamine Any More: Emerging Glutamatergic Therapies for Schizophrenia," Calcium deficiency may be a predisposing or causative factor in schizophrenia ? This concept is based on the demonstration that „NMDA receptor hypofunction“ can be based on calcium-deficiency, potentiated by nutritional hypoproteinemia - chapter “Hyperfunction (Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson disease) and hypofunction (schizophrenia) of glutamatergic neuronsâ€.

can ayurvedic medicine be used with allopathy medicine eg qutan

Ayurveda can be used with allopathy. you can even try along with homeopathy-but be careful as homeopathy will interact with allopathy, as homeopathy treats mind and body as one.i am speaking from personal experience of a family member
