What is a dry skin disorder? |

When skin is altered or damaged, it leads to dryness of skin. Dry skin is a common problem and may occur due to rough weather (dry winters), exposure of skin to water, soaps, gloves, and chemicals. The amount of the natural emulsion is influenced by age, cleansing, friction, humidity, temperature and other factors. Dry skin, particularly on the forearms, hands, and lower legs, tends to itch and flake (scale). Itching can be distracting and distressing. Chronic or severe dry skin problems may require a dermatologist's advice. |

So skin disorder not only disturb the appearence of the person but the give also some mental or emotional stress which causes the anxiety and increase in the disorder. |
