Posted on: 05/27/2010 a person overtly indulging in sexual acts or fantasies is often very conscious of his excesses but it takes a professional to evaluate the symptoms and confirm the addiction. of course, not all the 'sexually overinclined' are addicted!

Posted on: 05/26/2010 Could this idea of 'sex addiction' be missing something? For every person who thinks that they might have a 'sex addiction', there is a unique story about how they have come to this understanding. We are constantly making meaning out of the events and situations of our lives. A good therapist or counselor will help a person explore these meanings and come to a richer and more useful description of what might be troubling them and the way forward. |
