Autoimmune condition- a disease where a person develops anti bodies against one’s own body

Fibrosis- growth of fibrous tissue that results in scarring of the concerned organ

Chimerism- refers to a phenomenon where two different cell types, mostly from two different individuals exist in the body of the same person

Tendons– fibrous connective tissue that connects muscles to bone

Emollients- lubricants to make skin soft and smooth
