Optometrist - A professional trained to test, detect, and treat eye problems by prescribing and adapting corrective lenses and other optical aids.Hyperopia - Long-sightedness. Objects in the distance are relatively clearer than objects close up which are relatively more blurred, (opposite of short sight).
Astigmatism - An eye condition in which the lens doesn't focus light evenly on the retina, leading to problems with visual sharpness.
Myopia - The ability to see near objects more clearly than those at a distance.
Glaucoma - A condition where abnormally high pressure of the fluid in the eye causes damage to the optic nerve, resulting in impaired vision and blindness.
