Auto-immune: disorder where antibodies form against one own cells and tissues.Neuritis: Inflammation of nerve
Demyelinating disease: Brain and the nerves emerging from the brain have a coating layer around it made of fatty tissue. It is for the faster conduction of signals through the nerves. This coating layer is called the myelin sheath. In demyelinating diseases this myelin sheath is destroyed due to inflammation affecting the nerve conduction.
