Indication Of Local Anaesthesia |
Text
Local anesthesia can be used by itself or it can be combined with other types of anesthesia such as spinal or epidural anesthesia. This is done to reduce the stress associated with surgery, and to provide pain relief after surgery. More commonly, it is used for pain caused by hemorrhoids, fissure, insect bite, and minor burns. It is applied topically. It is also indicated for vaginal, rectal and otological examination, cystoscopy, catheterization, urethral operations, and endotracheal intubation. |
