Quoting the often quoted adage. There are tow sides of the same coin. I will go on to explain the bad as well as the good aspects of the detox diet. Devil Detox diets can be short on many nutrients, leading to certain deficiencies and lowered immunity Any weight loss achieved is usually temporary which is the result of loss of water as well as fat due to severe calorie restriction. Therefore the weight comes back and leads to yo-yo dieting. There are also complaints of side effects like feeling tires, sick and aches. This is due to the lack of food. Strict detox plans can cause development of an unhealthy obsession with food and a potential eating disorder. Angel Detox diets help develop healthy eating habits Eating more fruit and vegetables, drinking more water and cutting down on junk food and processed foods is advocated. Caffeine and alcohol consumption is cut down. |
