The side effects of chemotherapy drugs have been well studied. All the drugs used have some side-effects which instills fear among the patients. Compared to the last decade, side-effect management has come a long way and today it is possible for the oncologist to prevent or control them. Few side effects cannot be avoided if the patient is to benefit from the treatment. Hence it is better to learn to cope with the side-effects rather than to worry about them. |
