 Choose your physical activities wisely; avoid those exercises that put too much strain on your back. If you are a gymnast, limit your hours of practice or alternate it with another activity like swimming or walking.

 Practice sports activities on grass as far as possible. Grass reduces the impact of forces transmitted through the spine as compared to concrete or astro turfs.

 Maintain good posture at all times; do not slouch in front of the computer for a long time-take regular breaks

 Ensure your back is well supported with a suitable seating support

My wife is aged 32, she is suffering with Spondylolisthesis grade 2. Kindly advise me, who will be the best doctor whether Orthopadics or Neuro Surgen will treat. We are residing in Delhi,

Spondylolisthesis may be-1)congenital 2)isthmic 3)degenerative 4) traumatic 5)Pathological 6)Iatrogenic.
It may be Grade 1-100% slip.High grade listhesis(Gr1&2), patients with unstable listhesis, neurological deficit and young symptomatic patients need operative treatment.
