Leprosy - Complication

If the disease is not given proper care and treatment in the early stage then it results in disfigurement of the hands and legs. It also causes permanent and irreversible nerve damage.

i am infected hansen disease(BL)since 2003 and i take my MDT from 2005 to 2007 but problem is some nodules appears in my body, when i take prednisolene then its disappear,so, please tell me can i prevent this disease and how long i take prednisolene?
