Currently medical tourists are traveling in large numbers abroad where the quality of is equal to anywhere else in the world and yet the cost is significantly lower. These regions also offer numerous options for touring, sight-seeing, shopping, exploring, and yes, even lounging on sun drenched beaches. Although India, the East Indies, and South America are currently the most popular choices for medical tourists, the industry is growing so rapidly that more and more countries and medical centers around the world are beginning to tailor services aimed specifically at medical tourists, and the expectation is that the options for where medical tourists can choose to travel will continue to increase at a rapid pace. |

At this moment only ICRI [Institute for Clinical Research, India] is offering a management degree in MT (Under the banner of Health Care Management). It is a two year management degree with a specialisation in MT. The branches of ICRI are at Delhi, Bangalore,Bangalore, Hyderabad Mumbai and Ahmedabad. |

Posted on: 12/29/2009 This is an excellent question that I have seen many times, although this particular time it is 2 years old. Medical Tourism is a growing field, and as such new networks are constantly forming. There is one in particular that will market your facility for you, and has access to millions of patients. From what I can tell they don't charge the facility anything to be in their network. From my studies this is a great place to start. |
