Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture company between the Tata Group and American International Group, Inc. (AIG). The Tata Group holds 74 per cent stake in the insurance venture with AIG holding the balance 26 percent. It commenced its operations on January 22, 2001, by providing insurance solutions to individuals and corporate. It offers complete range of general insurance products that includes insurance for automobile, home, personal accident, travel, energy, marine, property and casualty as well as several specialized financial lines.  |

Posted on: 10/08/2011 The papers sent to policy holders must include Form for claim in the event of necessity. Otherwise, it amounts to intentional delay in making obligatory pament as the premium has been collected in advance. Withholding claim form amounts to making aspersons or doubting a client a cheat. This is not permitted by law i.e. burdening an honest client as a "suspected cheat". It is a two way process.

Posted on: 02/07/2011 I issued a Cheque of Rs. 14,051/- for TATA AIG General Insurance Co Ltd on 28th December,2010.
I am yet to hear from them about my Insurance Policy.
