Private companies and mediclaim policies: With their offers of critical illness covers and hospital cash, private insurance companies are playing a major role especially in the health insurance sector.

The funds are paid forthright and the individual patient need not be stressed out rushing pillar to post to spit out substantial funds.

The mediclaim policy is becoming popular day by day and industrialists, business professionals and executives mostly opt for this policy. The Bajaj Allianz and ICICI claim that their mediclaim policies are the best in the industry.

Since most of the Industrial workers are covered under the ESI Act they do not take up these policies.
