Miscarriage

Miscarriage or spontaneous abortion is the loss of pregnancy, where the fetus cannot survive or is born before the 20th week of pregnancy. It occurs in about 15-20 per cent of all recognized pregnancies. Almost 80 per cent of the miscarriages occur in

the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. The chance of a successful pregnancy after a spontaneous miscarriage is very good.
