Gait: Pattern of walking.Nystagmus: Involuntary, rhythmical movement of the eyeballs.
Cochleotoxicity: Poisonous to the cochlea.
Vestibulocochlear nerve/Auditory nerve: The VIIIth cranial nerve, a sensory nerve that carries information of sound and posture from the inner ear to the brain.
Cochlea: Snail-shell shaped structure in the inner ear that contains the sensory organs of hearing.
Vestibular system: A collection of structures and part of the inner ear that provides information to the brain about sense of balance, posture and spatial orientation.
Loop diuretics: Drugs that increase the production of urine by preventing re-absorption of water from the loop of Henle (a part of the kidney).
Oscillopsia: A visual disturbance in which the surrounding objects seem to sway to and fro.
