Today is 5th July 2009 A Polio Day, I never missed any of the Polio day since it started, I was actively involved in promoting the day, but unfortunately Today I took my child with four other children of my colony and I traveled almost all over the city that is Jabalpur India but I never found any representative for the same.... My question from the organization... Are we serious towards eradication of polio from India??? Is the Television Advertisements are enough to educate people????

Overcoming anxiety is never easy. There are many parts to overcoming anxiety. The best way to help is to visit the doctor regularly and to tell the doctor how the person feels. If anxiety was easy to overcome, there wouldn’t be any need for the doctor or for that matter, medicines. These are important pieces of the puzzle but the puzzle has a lot more pieces. Think back to the last time a person was putting a jigsaw puzzle together. It probably took awhile to finish. When the person was just ready for the last piece and it was missing it may have felt like it was a waste of time because the piece is missing. That is almost what it feels like with anxiety. A person tries hard to overcome but doesn’t now how to finish. __________________ Anxiety therapytechnique without medications

I too suffer from this phobia and for many years thought I was alone. I have done a bit of research and it would seem that there are many of us out there. The fear of buttons even has a name, koumpounophobia.
Jehovah's Witnesses & blood transfusions is contradictory, they condemn blood but then go and use 'fractions',donated by thousands of Red Cross volunteers. They use 60% of the blood volume as broken down "fractions" then go on Bible thumping rants about how dangerous and sinful blood transfusions are.
As a diversion they go and trump the advantages of bloodless surgeries and try to grab the credit for it when in fact bloodless techniques were pioneered by non-JW doctors because of the shortage of blood donors (like with all the JW's who use blood fractions but don't donate back). This smacks of hypocrisy,
[ 250,000 Jehovah's Witnesses have perished since 1945 due to the Watchtower no Blood transfusions dogma.]

Thanks for enlightening us about this sect of Christians. As a doctor I have encountered a few of these and they can be pretty difficult to handle.

really valuable content, I suggest to put this content forward on the web so that most of the netscape users could read this and know the facts....the reality they face everyday but with little or no knowledge of the danger.
