Yoga Organizations in Aurangabad, Gear Up With Week-Long Events For International Yoga Day
After the announcement of International Yoga Day by the United Nations General Assembly, Yoga organizations from Aurangabad have planned various events in the city leading up to June 21.
The Mahatma Gandhi Mission (MGM) and Yoga //Mahasamiti, Aurangabad, have jointly organized a free "mega camp" at MGM cricket ground. MGM Arogyam naturopathy and yoga center has also organized a two-day free yoga camp to be held at the center.

"The World Health Organization estimates that at least 80% of all illnesses are directly or indirectly caused by stress. Yoga is the best way to overcome such problems," said Aparna Pandav, in charge of the naturopathy center. The camp is open for all and participants need not follow any particular dress code.

The district administration and Yoga Mahasamiti have organized a Yog Dindi on June 19, 2015. Around 200 participants, including students, senior citizens and laughter club members, are expected to participate in the march. The procession will start from Kranti Chowk and pass through various parts of the city, including Paithan Gate and Gulmandi, culminating at Saraswati Bhuwan College ground.
