Watching Violence on TV may Disturb Preschoolers' Sleep

Preschool-aged children who watched TV shows with violent content could experience sleep disturbances, according to a new study.  
 Watching Violence on TV may Disturb Preschoolers' Sleep

Researchers in the US alluded to a cause and effect relationship between children's media use and sleep problems.  If children watched disturbing content on television, it affected their sleep pattern.

Researchers also advice co-viewing as it can increase parental awareness of the media content, so that they can begin taking remedial action.
