Watching Violence on TV may Disturb Preschoolers’ Sleep
Preschool-aged children who watched TV shows with violent content could experience sleep disturbances, according to a new study.
Researchers in the US alluded to a cause and effect relationship between children's media use and sleep problems. If children watched disturbing content on television, it affected their sleep pattern.
Researchers also advice co-viewing as it can increase parental awareness of the media content, so that they can begin taking remedial action.
