Simmering Curry - Murg Masala Embroiled In a Thick Soup

There seems to be some kind of panic among poultry farmers in Uttar Pradesh after reports got wind that more than 2000 chicks had died on an Aligarh Farm. Official confirmation is still awaited.

UP animal husbandry director R C Sharma said “The surviving birds are being given antibiotics and vitamins. Samples from the dead birds have been sent to animal disease laboratory in Bhopal, a lab in Izzatnagar and the Veterinary University, Mathura, although the birds are believed to have succumbed to bacterial pneumonia.

Veterinarians have also inspected the Nawab poultry farm in Gharuamafi village in Aligarh, from where the deaths of chicks, were reported.
