Cryopreservation of embryo eggs

Cryopreservation of embryo eggs is now offered by Yale Fertility Center. Professor Pasquale Patrizio, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences is collaborating with an oocyte Cryopreservation expert from Italy.

The new embryo freezing technique would help in preserving the eggs of the women at a time when she is sexually active but not interested to have babies now; she has the option of preserving her eggs and has to not worry about infertility which occurs during old age. Eggs are preserved also in cancer patients who are likely to undergo chemotherapeutic drugs as these cancer drugs may lead to infertility and change in reproductive organ function. The University of Yale is to offer consultation, preparation, evaluation and technique expertise in Cryopreservation of eggs.
