American Cancer Society is planning to start “Hope Lodges” near major cancer hospitals to provide free accommodation to cancer patients when they are getting treatment in these major cancer hospitals.
These Hope Lodges would provide free accommodation to these patients who are coming from far off distances to get cancer treatment and these lodges could provide staying facilities to these patients during their treatment which would avoid unnecessary travel from the patients home town to cancer hospitals.National Cancer Institute website offers information about various funding agencies which provide money for cancer treatment to these needy patients and they also provide information about the various clinical trials in which these cancer patients could join and get free drug treatment for cancer.
