Mobile clinics equipped with endoscopic facilities will be available for rural people, who mostly had to wait for a long time for treatment and diagnosis.

NHS Lothian will be organizing mobile endoscopic diagnostics along with mobile clinics. Endoscopic procedures are mostly useful in diagnosing the disease conditions inside the body which becomes visible on a screen through the camera fitted on the endoscopic tubes in some conditions biopsy specimens can also be collected using endoscopic tubes. Though, most of the biopsy test results showed negative results this mobile endoscopic unit reduces the long wait of the patients for an endoscopic procedure.
