Germany could start indoor poultry to avoid bird flu infection

Germany would be taking strict control measures to avoid infected poultry entering Germany from Turkey has there is a wide spread of bird flu infection Turkish poultry reported Germany Agricultural Minster Horst Seehofer.

World Health Organization has also asked Germany to take stringent measures to avoid bird flu ahead of the World’s biggest agriculture fair to be held in Berlin. German government will take strict legal action against people who illegally import poultry products to Germany from Turkey and a decision would be taken whether poultry should be reared indoor to avoid bird flu spread from migratory birds. Turkey is the favorite holiday destination for Germans and the ministry has asked german tourists not to visit poultry markets in Turkey and many states in Germany has restricted the entry of Turkey travelers to their city.
