Metamorphosis of U.S. Hospital Buildings
The Old Hospital buildings in U.S. is getting metamorphosed into luxurious buildings with modern and advanced hi-tech medical equipments which may offer good patient hospitality but could increase the cost of treatment leading to non-accessible of poor patients to these luxurious hospitals. The hospital industry in U.S. is changing from a semi-private health system to complete privatization. Though the hospital industry feels that the change would boost the hospital industry but the critics feel that the hospitals should concentrate more on the treatment aspect rather than the luxurious buildings, which could cost more than $1 billion for each hospital.
