Viagra Pill For Women To Be Developed
Pfizer's Executive Director Peter Ellis has revealed that a version of the Viagra pill meant for women will be developed. The female sexual dysfunction market is much larger when compared to that of men, but it also that much more difficult to develop a pill for that, according to Ellis. The desire, arousal and pain experienced by the woman has to be factored in for developing the pill, which will make it all the more difficult to develop it.

Besides women are not subject to the same kind of stigma that a man is subjected to due to dysfunction. The trials and studies for such a drug is being conducted at the UK laboratory of Pfizer, and the first molecule is not expected to be ready before the year 2012. Most women in India consider sex only as a procreational activity, and do not make an issue of their problems while consulting a doctor. The sexual dysfunction drugs can be targeted at this category of women, according to Ellis.
