Arjun Singh, the minister of human resources, has been hospitalized after he complained of chest pain. The minister, who arrived in this twin capital of Punjab and Haryana Sunday evening, was admitted to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) at night.
Though he is still under observation, doctors said he is likely to be discharged by Monday afternoon.Singh was in the city to attend the inauguration of the regional office of the Central Bureau of Secondary Education (CBSE) at Panchkula as well as meet Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh Monday. Both engagements were cancelled.
